Season Three Premiere! Essential Albums, Volume 3 (Part 1)

 

The show that talks about stuff on purpose is back for its third season! How have we made it to three seasons? It boggles the mind. There are those doubted we would ever finish our first season. Take that, mom! But here we are, beginning our third season of absolute podcast madness. And of course, since this is our season premiere, we're doing Essential Albums, Vol. 3, only this time... we're turning it up to 11! You may recall our first episode (you don't, but that's okay) where we first opened the TRAPPO Essentials Can(n)on and inducted ten "essential" albums (five each) to get this crazy journey rolling. In season two, we doubled down with ten albums each, which is just ridiculous. 

But this time... we're doing eleven albums each. It's just one more than ten, obviously, but we're not out of our minds here. Twenty albums each is just overkill, plus the episode would be five or six lengthy parts, and it would be interminably boring. So eleven albums. Each. That's good enough for us. And this is just part one. We couldn't contain the majesty of our Essential Albums discussion to one mere episode of TRAPPO. You'll have to tune in next week for the startling conclusion of all that. But for now, we've got eleven albums to induct, so let's get this show on the road!
