Return Of The Living TRAPPO!!!

TRAPPO has officially been un-canceled! That's exciting news, right? Does anybody even remember TRAPPO anymore? It used to be a podcast, once upon a time. Some people listened to it. Most people didn't listen to it. Then there was a bit of controversy that derailed TRAPPO back in December, and things just couldn't seem to get back on track. Long story short: shit happened, and the future of the show was in jeopardy for several months. If you want to learn more, then be a lamb and listen to the latest episode of TRAPPO, which tries to answer all of the questions you never dared to ask. It's called Return Of The Living TRAPPO, which is not coincidentally the title of this blog post. Is that synergy? I think that's synergy. You can listen to the episode below, or find it basically anywhere you listen to your favorite podcasts. Whatever platform you choose to indulge in your podcast fetish, TRAPPO is probably there. So just search for TRAPPO and you will find it. We're not terribly elusive.

So now that this re-introduction is out of the way, what's next for TRAPPO? That's the big question that lies ahead of us. And the answer? TRAPPO will continue. We intend to maintain a semi-regular schedule moving forward through the second half of season four, but that doesn't mean weekly episodes. Bi-weekly is the most likely solution regarding the rest of the season, but that doesn't mean we won't miss a week every now and again. Our erratic schedules and my ongoing health issues will certainly prevent us from recording new episodes from time to time, which is something we'll just have to deal with. Next week we will premiere the 2024 TRAPPO Music Awards, which is a 66.6 KTRP production, hosted by our good friends Gore & Carey, The Gruesome Twosome. It's bound to be a laugh riot. So if you've been waiting with bated breath to learn who won The Obligatory Americana Award, come back next Friday to get your answer.

Beyond that... who knows? There will almost certainly be at least one more new episode of TRAPPO in April, and there are some plans for other episodes in the works for May, but nothing is set in stone as of today. Do you have any ideas for future episodes of TRAPPO? Any cool music or movies or whatever that you'd like to hear two random nerds on the internet ramble about for far too long at some nebulous point in the future? Then scroll down just a bit and leave a juicy comment below. Hell, leave two comments. We don't care. Tell us what's on your mind. We probably want to know. I don't think I'd bother asking if I didn't want to know. I suppose I can't speak for my co-host. He might not give a shit. But just leave a comment. Or send us an email if you're feeling more verbose. CLICK HERE to do that if you're feeling frisky. We're also on Threads, which is pretty much the only social media platform we keep up with anymore. So if you've dreamed of following TRAPPO on Threads, then CLICK HERE to make those dreams a reality. We'll probably follow you back.

I know we have a Substack that hasn't been updated since December. Perhaps you remember The TRAPPO Town Gazette? I might bring that back soon. I haven't decided yet. There's just a lot going on and I don't know if I can handle keeping that particular plate spinning in addition to everything else, so who knows what the future holds? Stay tuned, I guess. If you've listened to the latest episode and aren't satisfied by the answers we've provided, just leave a comment asking whatever questions you may have. We'll answer those questions for you. Did you know that we released an episode dedicated to 2024's Alien Romulus back in January? I forgot I had already scheduled that episode before all of the bullshit occurred, and I guess it just got lost in the shuffle. It's embedded below if you're interested.

So thanks for listening. If you'd like to keep listening, we'd greatly appreciate it. These are strange times, aren't they? Who knows what the future holds for any of us?

But TRAPPO will continue until morale improves.
